Bump...just trying to get an answer on whether there is a way to have the default sort on the website stats match the way they are on the device (AVG for batting, ERA for pitching, FLD% for fielding). This was fixed three years ago (see beginning of this thread), but appears to have been broken/changed, perhaps due to the addition of the new advanced stats. I understand we can sort by clicking the headers, but it would be much easier if the website matched the device. The way it is now doesn't make any sense to me.

Thanks

The issue is that now there are many more sections than just Batting, Pitching, and Fielding, and people choose to hide/show different sections. As you know, clicking any heading will sort by that column. It is very difficult to get a default that is visible for everyone in all sections.

For now, players in all sections are listed in their batting average order.

We will checking into getting the pitching section in ERA order with the new set of stats we have.

Thanks much.

Quick question...when you say people choose to hide/show sections, do you mean hide/show individual stats? (I know how to check/uncheck specific stats, but I wasn't aware one could hide entire sections...unless you meant we can just uncheck all boxes in that section.)

Yes, if you uncheck all boxes in a section, then that section would not show.

We are trying to get our kids to focus on QAB, not average, so I'm coming at this from a different angle. We've actually removed the Batting Avg from all of our stat screens, however, our players still list out by BA. Is there a way to assign the default sort for the device to QAB instead of BatAvg? I know that I can click headers and sort it, but when I send our the email to other coaches, they go out in BA order----if the coach is looking at the mail on their phone or ipad, they don't have an easy access to open it in Excel and manipulate the spreadsheet. Also, the team website still puts the players in order of batting avg.

Would be nice to just assign your own designated default options from the list of available stats---that way your team automatically sorts down the way that you need it.

Or maybe this is already possible and I just don't see how to do it---if so, please tell me where to look.

We do not have a way to specify a different default sort order. We do have this on our enhancement list for future prioritization however. Thank you for the specific use case of QAB for your team(s).
