I found some NHFS references that clearly state for HS baseball No jewlry permitted. Not sure the penalty is consistent though..

No Jewlry Permitted

NFHS 3-2-12

Players prohibited from wearing jewelry. 1st offense a team
warning and jewelry must be removed. Next offender and
head coach restricted to dug/out bench area.

I didn't read your post well enough. I realized where the mistake was. I'm looking at a softball rule book, and you have a baseball rule book, which will most likely have different rule number, but the intent of the rules themselves are still there.
