If there is any interest, we are going to put up a web page that will allow you to add the Major League All Star teams/rosters to your device from a web page. To use it, you would Export from your device, go to a web page and type your customer ID, the rosters will then be added to your database, then you can Import back to your device.
Please email us at support@fasterthanmonkeys.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false if you are interested in getting the free roster.
Thank you.

Re: ** FREE 2009 ALL-STAR ROSTERS ** any interest?
I'm very interested, but some questions:
1) How will the Allstars rosters interact with my data? I have some or most of the players already in my database; how will this process deal with the duplicate players? What will happen with the accumulated stats of my players and their association with their respective teams?
2) Are the cumulative stats associated with the player's name or also with the team? Example: if I use the rosters, will the game stats add to the cumulative stats of the player (this will mean the stats are associated with the name only) or not? If they add to the cumulative stats, will deleting the AllStar Game leave the player stats as before?

The All Star roster we would put on your device ties in with the players we will be offering with the MLB Stats package. They will not be tied to the names you already have in your device --- they will be new players in that regard (i.e. if you already have a Derek Jeter on your device, this would be a new Derek Jeter). If you got the MLB pack (when v2.0 comes out), they WILL match those players.
When v2.0 comes out, we also added "Leagues", and these players would be part of the "Major League 2009" league. Your existing players will wind up in a default league.
I know it can be confusing if you already have the names in your system, but there is no way we would be able to safely synchronize the content to your existing names as even the slightest typo would cause an issue.
Hope this makes sense...
