Can you update the photo on a players card? I'm currently using an Ipad2.

Yes. Just select a new one from the Player screen. It seems the iPad (and iPhone) will sometimes cache the old photo on your device for a while for some unknown reason, but the new photo is actually there. You can sometimes force clearing of the cache by "force closing" iScore, and possible powering the device off and back on. We are not sure why this is required, but hope to make it unnecessary in a future update. The caching is being done by a built in control that Apple supplies that we are making use of.

Is a "force closing" just turning the power off? I tried it and the old picture still appears. Thanks for the quick response.

Force closing just iScore, double press the button on your iPad. All of your apps should appear on the bottom of your iPad screen. Touch and hold the Iscore app. A - sign should show up at the top left corner of all your apps. Touch the - then press your iPad button and touch iScore again. This should reset.
If an X appears instead of the - do NOT touch the X. The X deletes the app.

As FTM suport mentioned this is a known issue/bug.. It has been identified as repeatable and discussed in previous threads. But It is a fairly recent discovery. FTM will try and fix in a future update ( the cause is an apple subroutine, beyond FTM control). Something in the cache / storage routines. Clearing safari cache, powering on/off sometimes (but not always) will force the refresh, other times it just takes time -- not instantly like one would expect, sometimes you have to wait hours, sometimes days for it to correct itself..
That said, if after updateing the photo and geting the successful notice but old photo still shows, you can send yourself a player card by email, and you will find the updated photo is there not the old one. The issue is isolated to the device..
This non change on device happens only when changeing a photo from old to new. (and only happens sometimes). Putting in a new photo for first time shows up instantly as you would expect..
Again, this is a bug FTM is looking to fix in future update.. For now just have to wait.
