League edition.... Still on the spring horizon?
League edition.... Still on the spring horizon?
I know development priorities are subject to change and constantly evolve with customer and FTM priorities..... But was wondering if the "league version for baseball" was still on the horizon with a prospective spring (or earlier) release?
Thanks ....

Yes. All of the technology is working great, and was used during several pilot programs over the summer (some of which had URLs posted on this forum). We are just working on how to package leagues / tournaments in the best way as an actual product.

We do not have a date, but are looking at February as the target.
Here are a few examples where complete leagues or tournaments were run with iScore Baseball:
http://leagues.iscorecentral.com/vibl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://leagues.iscorecentral.com/areacode2010" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://leagues.iscorecentral.com/nsc2010hs" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

FTM, the sooner the better. Spring ball generally begins in late February, so you may be missing out on an opportunity to market the league product. I know that we have already begun sign-ups for Spring for our league, and I am the one setting up the process for using iScore as our official scorebook. Help me FTM, I beg you!

Embedding iScore Teamsites into other sites
Is there a way to embed parts of an iScore team website into our League site?
Much like we can embed a calendar from Google into our iScore Team site...can we embed the stats/box scores/etc. from an iScore team site into our league site?

Yes. Every page from the team website is intentionally created to work in an IFRAME. If you right click on the content area of any page on your team website, you can get the URL for that content and embed it in an IFRAME on another site.

Great. Do i just copy the URL of the content from address page and add to my site with the proper iFrame? or do i have to view source and copy.

The URL in the address of the browser is to the league site, but if you right click on the stats area for example, and get the properties of that frame, you will see a URL to the stats for your team. It will look something like this: http://iscorebaseball.com/stats.php?t=yourteam" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
