echo that Team Mom.

couple points i thought i would point out on this new feature...

a) the player card looks good with and without player head shot photos. I was plesently surprised FTM adjust the layout, if you have a head shot, it is included on the emailed card, if you do not have a photo, they adjust the layout and it looks good too. smart

b) my 'email receipt speed' was noticablly slower than with stats, not sure if my ISP or iscore, but it took muchj longer to arrive in my email inbox than it does for stats.. ... will counsel users to be patient awaiting email receipt in your in box

OK.... maybe I've missed it, I have looked throughout the forum, How do I email the Player Cards? I cannot find a button or an option to do this from my iPhone.

emailing player card is a new feature, in latest version (v2.85.101) that came out yesterday

once updated to new version v2.85 it is very intuitive...
Home
Player Manager >
Select Player >
Player Card Button (lower left) >
Email Button (lower middle)
enter email address (can do multiples seperated with a space if you want)
choose your email options (on/off) ... batting, pitching, fielding, hit chart, positions
send

I'm having some trouble filtering the Player Card for both viewing and e-mail. I go into Player Manager and select a player. I choose the leagues I want to use to view and then hit Player Card. I am getting all of the stats for that player for all games. The Player Card on the device shows leagues at the bottom that I didn't choose (including 'All' which isn't even a choice in the player's leagues). Any idea what I am missing?

Feature request for once I figure this out. Include the leagues used for the player card on the pdf somewhere.

You have to turn the leagues you want to view On and Off in League Manager. That is the way filtering works. Whatever is checked in League Manager is what will be displayed across the device. It sounds like you may be trying to filter the league on the Player and not in League Manager. Setting the league on the Player tells which League(s) the player is in. Checking the Leagues in League Manager is how you filter all data to a specific league.

I love the player card format! Any chance you guys could add one more column to positions played? Not sure what the demand is for it, but I would like to see the total number of innings (a total of all the innings added up for each game). This way, I could easily see how many innings the player has sat out.

Thanks again for a great update!

The problem with just adding the numbers up is we are showing the number of innings players appeared in particular positions. If a player played at Shortstop and Third Base in the same inning, they will get credit for an appearance at both positions for that inning, so you can not just add up the values to see total innings played.

We will add the request to our list however.

One thing we have already added for the next release is "# of Starts" at each position to go along with Games Appeared and Innings Appeared.

I got it now. I've just never used the leagues to filter on the device before.

I would like to request innings/games appeared stats to migrate to the Team Websites also.

the player played position charts are now on the team web sites in play-by-play ( added in last couple of weeks).
It is located in a somewhat non intuitive place, click on the Game Page, Click a game Play-by-Play, scroll to end, there it is...
