iScorecasts now supported on any HTML standard platform
We have put up an early version of an HTML based viewer for iScorecasts that will run on many more devices (including iPhones, iPads, Android based devices, etc). You can now watch "iScorecasts" on any computer / device that uses a standards-based HTML browser.
If you go to http://iscorecast.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, and do not have Flash installed, it will automatically send you to the HTML based iScorecast viewer.
If you want to go directly to the HTML based viewer (even if you have Flash), you can go to:
http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecast/htmlplayer.php
This is a direct plug-in for the Flash viewer we have had all along, and will be automatic for folks trying to view an iScorecast that don't have flash.
One additional enhancement.... if you have a Team Website, you can enter the name of your Team Website when it asks for the Customer ID as an alternative to entering the Customer ID (which can be much harder to remember). This will work for both the HTML based and the Flash based viewer. (NOTE: It will show the list of games from the device associated with the team which may be more games than just the team if you have done iScorecasts for additional games.)
We will be expanding the functionality of this viewer to include pitch listings like the Flash based viewer has, but this does give you the ability to see scores live now, and follow along with the game in real time.

Does this only work "live"? Any game I choose just shows the end result on my iPad.

The purpose is to provide live updates for currently running games or game results for completed games on any mobile device that supports a web browser.

This is great!
Question: It shows subs in the lineup, but does not list all of the pitchers... is that just an oversight?

Not an oversight, but a good idea.
We will try and add that soon as well. We have several other ideas for improvements with it as well that we will be implementing in the coming weeks. Thank you.

Liked it so much, it is now in place. As soon as there is at least one substitute pitcher, we change to a format that shows the inning each pitcher came in.

Re: iScorecasts now supported on any HTML standard platform
We now have Replay capabilities in the "HTML Based" iScorecast. If you tap / click the "black bar" across the middle, it expands to show pitch by pitch. If anyone has one of the higher resolution phones (Droid, iPhone 4, etc) or the iPad, it is a GREAT way to watch the game live. Even lower resolution phones look pretty good, but you don't get the full view the way you can with the higher resolution.
Take a look, and let us know your feedback... we will continue expanding the functionality of this "viewer" as well.

Wow! It looks fantastic on the iPad. Also looks great on the new iPhone. More great work, as usual. Thanks FTM!
