We are still working through the issue, but for now, if you go to Team Manager, select the Roster for the team, drag a player down to Inactive and then back up, you should be able to use the team to create new games without that issue.

We are trying to find exactly what is causing the issue, but this is a quick workaround.

We have submitted a fix to Apple for this issue and asked that it be treated as an emergency fix. The steps mentioned in the previous post are the fix until v3.35 comes out.

This does NOT affect new users or new Teams you may create.

Just got the iPod update and I'm playing around with the pitch speed. I set the Game Settings to "Softball" and "40 feet". Again, just messing around with doing the finger-touch thing to calculate speed. It is giving me a speed in MPH and then a second speed in parenthesis. The second speed is always about 1.5 x the first speed. I thought maybe it was doing KPH, but both units are MPH. What are the two different speeds?

The second speed is showing the "MLB Equivalent" speed. If it were an MLB pitcher (60.5 feet), what speed would the ball have been traveling to reach the plate in the same amount of time as this ball reached the plate. It gives a way of comparing the speeds to what players have to deal with in MLB.

You will notice that top Softball pitchers are actually throwing much faster than MLB equivalents... softball batters have less time to react than an MLB batter.

I figured it was something like that since it was 1.5 x the first number when I'm at 40 feet. That makes sense.

Thanks for the updates! I particularly like the "Inactive" player feature, which was one of my suggestions. I doubt I was the only one suggesting it, but nice to know you guys are listening to the customers! Very rare business that so actively implements what their clientele asks for.

Thanks for the update! Some good changes. I thought enough people had requested the foul tip/strike three option to have it added, but I guess not. Hope to see that in the next update!
