With the Apple App Store having 99% of all downloads (http://www.physorg.com/news183152477.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) you might be waiting for some time.

Will you be offering an enhanced version of iscore for baseball on the iPad? If so, how will you take advantage of the new capabilities? When do you think you would release an iPad upgrade, if at all? Will the database be interchangeable? (meaning, I may want to take my iTouch to a game one day then use the iPad on another day). Will I be able to synch the database to both devices even if I use the existing version on the iPad ? With so much real estate on iPad it would be nice to see the option to have a real-time updating score sheet and box score visible at all times. Maybe a hybrid where when a batter comes up, it shows all of his at bats this game or all of his at bats lifetime against this pitcher. Lots of neat capabilites in the iPad!

Yes, we will most likely be creating a version specifically for the iPad to take advantage of the additional screen space. The original iScore will be able to run on the iPad unchanged right from the start... it will just be bigger.

Yes, you will be able to transfer your existing data to the iPad. By the time the iPad comes out (60 days), we will likely have the capability in place to share individual game / player data between devices instead of having to transfer the entire database like we do now.

We have already talked about several ideas we have in mind for it, but we don't want to lose focus on the fact that we have a large customer base already using the iPhone / iPod Touch, and will continue putting most of our effort into that device while exploring the iPad possibilities as well.

I would guess that in the case previously stated that most little league parents/coaches have someone on the team who has an iTouch that could score the game(s) for you. Out of a team of 10-16 in Little League, I find it hard to believe that someone on that team does not have an iTouch. Not only that but I think that you will find it very challenging to try to keep score and actually manage a LL team at the same time. I have coached at that level for many years (son now in HS baseball) and would have not been able to do it.

My suggestion is to find a parent on your team to score the games for you. Then share the data with the team through team sites or your own via email or some other means.

Thank FTM for not losing focus on the platform that has made you what you are, one of the #1 scoring apps available.

Would it be difficult to port for Windows XP/Vista/7 and then have the ability to sync the iphone with a desktop? This would make it easier to make edits to play-by-play after a game, roster info, team info, league manipulation, etc.... Most apps I've had in the past that are as robust as this one, not just a game, have a desktop version that you can keep in sync. Also, lots of people have laptops and netbooks are becoming more popular. So people may even prefer a laptop/netbook for inputting data? Personally I'd just like the edit capabilities and would still use the iphone at the ballpark.

This isn't a huge deal, just throwing it out there since you asked. :)

We have a web based interface for things like Team Management, but will not likely be creating the actual scoring on the desktop. We may allow editing of games on the desktop in the future, but actual scoring will continue to be on the portable devices. Thank you for the suggestions.

We are definitely doing an iPad version. This thread was more about whether there was interest in non-Apple devices.
