It is up high on our priority list of things to do for Android, but we do not currently have a timeframe for it.

Gang, anything?? Been awhile since we've heard anything. High school season has come and gone now little league playoffs are about done with all star game getting ready to begin.
I've been bragging about how nice Iscore "will" be on the xoom when it gets updated to show the full pad version. I'm beginning to think I will not see it until sometime in 2012.
Please tell me I'm wrong.

Re: eagerly awaiting next version
As noted, we do not have a timeframe for it. It is a high priority of the things we intend to do for Android, but there are a lot of things on our list across platforms and sports, and we try and balance them all.

Thanks for the reply and all of the great work.
Re: eagerly awaiting next version
I am intrigued by the dribs & drabs of info that have been coming out about the next version. Is it a new point release (i.e. 4.0)? And will the separate iPhone & iPad products become a single iOS product, like the Basketball scorekeeper? I'm thinking about getting an iPad, and the prospect of buying an entirely new app just to use ESPN iScore Baseball Scorekeeper is going to be very, very painful.
Also, I really would like for iScore 4.0 to allow me to have fine grain control over how I score certain plays (i.e. a 6-4-3 double play, a fly ball to the left fielder, etc.), much like I would if I were tending a paper scorecard at the ballpark.
Hopefully those features, and much more, will be in our hot little hands shortly.

Re: eagerly awaiting next version
It is not likely going to be a 4.x release. We have a lot of new functionality, but not the kind that justifies a full point release. Baseball will remain separate products for iPhone and iPad.
The good news is if you buy the $500 to $800 iPad, you can still run the iPhone version of iScore on the iPad without having to buy a new version of iScore. The iPhone version runs just fine, it just does not take advantage of the screen the way the spending the extra $10 on the iPad version would. If you do decide to buy the iPad version, the data is fully compatible and can be transferred between versions.
What is it about a 6-4-3 double play and a fly ball to the left fielder that you can not control right now?

Re: eagerly awaiting next version
It's more of a learning curve issue wherein I have used a paper scorecard in the past and I keep thinking of iScore as a paper analog, which isn't how it works to my knowledge.
And thanks for your support and fast responses.

Re: eagerly awaiting next version
If you get an iPad, it is well worth the additional $10 to get the iPad version of iscore. The extra screen space is well worth it.
