Tried to type a note earlier today during a game and found that the Notes box is partially obscured by the keyboard. I can see by your screen shot this is related to iOS8.. (one of a number of bugs iOS8 has created). In this case iOS looks to have "grown" the key board with the top word suggestions.. The developers will need to compensate in future iscore update

As a workaround, when you score you may need to flip to portrait mode. I suspect that will work in short term..

Also I am wondering if there is an option in IOS8 to elimate the word suggestion row

(My iscore app runs on an original iPAd so I am stuck on version ios5 and can not test the iOS8 tricks..)

The suggestion bar is only partially obscuring the comments box and turning the orientation didn't help, for the record.

FYI. Predictive text can be turned off in iOS8 by going to General>Keyboard>Predictive. By turning if off you will gain one additional line in the message box. What I am doing is typing the text then hid the keyboard to review it. I use almost all canned text messages that I have defined in the "shortcut" option. Examples: icvm = Coach visits mound. ipc = Pitching change. igc = great catch. idc= diving catch. etc etc.

Is the obscured notes box ever going to be fixed? This is a really annoying quirk. I recognize it might be iOS but it's annoying to not be able to see what's being typed.

It is on our list of issues to fix, but just has not been a high priority at this point. We prioritize based on severity and user demand among other factors, and the severity of this issue is not very high, and it is not something we have a lot of users asking about (in fact, nobody outside of this thread has ever mentioned it).

The issue has not been lost however.

On several occasions the note box has mysteriously appeared above the keyboard so I can type into it and tap save while the keyboard is still displayed. There must be some sequence of events that is causing this, but I haven't been able to duplicate it. It's a very pleasant surprise when it happens.

Love the new skin!! Looks great but I see that this bug is still there. Any chance it will be fixed?
