unsuccessful import

I copied data from one iPad to another via the website using "manage data". If I log into the device I copied to on the website, all the new data is there, so the copy was successful. However, when I go under Options in iScore on the device and click Import, it appears to be importing but when it reaches 100%, I get this message "Import Unsuccessful, the data could not be imported, however, your existing data was untouched." Internet connection is not a problem as I was able to successfully email play by play of several games. Any ideas as to what could be wrong? This same device will not Export either, when I attempted to do so, it knocked me out of the app and sent me back to the iPad home screen.
