I begin by saying sorry for the length of problem. I feel I need to set the event that needed to be edited but couldn't. It's the 3rd inning, tied score 2-2 with two outs. Bases load. Batter hit line drive to right field but rfielder let it get by him. runner of 3rd scored. I got distracted and missed the 2nd base runner scoring. man on 1st tries to score but was thrown out at home. I thought the runner being thrown out was the runner on 2nd, 3rd out and we start to bat. It was well into 4th inning when I was told my score was wrong that in the 3rd they scored 2 runs not 1. I saw my mistake and go back to pitch by pitch edit and realize I couldn't fit problem. I could edit the out but couldn't change the out to a safe. Can this problem be corrected and if can, how do I do it?
Thanks
O, we won the game 8-4 but my score book shows 8-3.

Re: Editing problem in pitch by pitch
The only way to fix a missed run would be to undo back to that point and then re-score from there.
A possible alternative that can still get you the right stats would be to Undo the last out and sub in a dummy player. Have that dummy player hit a home run. That gets the score right. You can add a note to the play where things went wrong saying what actually happened. And you can edit the stats to get them right by following the instructions here:
