I scored 7 games this weekend. This is the first time I've used iScore since installing ios7. It seems slower than before. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have not noticed a lag using iscore4.2 w iPhone4s and iOS7.02

That said my iPad 1 w iOS5 and iScore 4 lags a bit when saving pitch by pitch edits..but I have Chalked that up to Apple ..

It is possible that iOS7 is using more system resources than older versions of iOS6 did, and it would cause older devices to run slower. This would be an Apple / iOS issue however, not something we can do anything about in iScore.

You may want to try completely rebooting your device to free system resources --- press and hold the Home and Power button at the same time until the Apple logo appears to reset the device.

I scored several games this weekend and got behind twice. Both times it was when bases were loaded and there was a wild pitch where the runner at 3rd starts home, but goes back, the catcher overthrows 3rd and everyone advances. The lag seems to occur when I tap/slide a base runner. By the time I tapped all 3 runners and assigned the throwing error, I had missed a pitch.

Here is what I have found:
Tap Ball, Strikes, Foul - sub second
Tap Out or In Play - full second to bring up menu, then sub second on action selection.
Runner on base, tap or slide, full second to bring up menu then sub second on action selection.

Bases loaded, wild pitch:
tap runner on 3rd-full second, tap HOME-sub second, tap WILD PITCH-full second,
runner on 2nd pops up, tap THIRD-sub second, tap WILD PITCH-full second,
runner on 1st pops up, tap SECOND-sub second, tap WILD PITCH-sub second.
The last runner always is sub second on Wild Pitch selection.

It is not the entire app that is slow, just certain paths and selections.

Exactly what type of device are you using? iPad? iPhone? What model?

iPad 3, 32gb. Ios7 ver 7.0.2. With wifi using broadcast iScore v4.20.

I close all other app and I have powered off-on to reboot.

We have an iPad 3 with IOS7 that we just created a new game on, loaded up the bases (4 walks), then tapped runner on third, Home, Wild Pitch. There was no slowness at all.

Maybe you can do an Options -> Export and email us your customer ID to support@iscoresports.com and let us know which game you are doing this test with, and we can try using your data on a device here to see if we experience the slowness.

FWIW, I have scored 2 games with ios7 on iPad4 and did NOT notice any difference.

I could see older devices struggling, but iPad3 should be fine, I would think.

One possibility is "Background App Refresh." This is a feature on iso7 which will eat some cpu time and put additional drain on the battery. The impact of this feature will vary from iPad to iPad depending on what apps are installed. I am going to disable that function and do more testing.
