Twitter error 410 when trying to broadcast a game

We encountered a twitter error tonight. The error was "the operation can not be completed HTTP error 410". We were using a Verizon 4G LTE jetpack and an iPad at the field. I have logged out of the twitter account and logged back in at home and i am still getting the same error on the home network. We have successfully used the twittercast before and didn't have any issues.
Thanks for any help.

Same issue here. Twitter in game updates worked fine on June 6th 2013 while scoring a game, but all game tweets and test tweets from within the iscore app fail with the http 410 error as of June 11, 2013. Looked at twitter support and it looks like the http error 410 is due to a change in the API. Wonder if there will be an update to the iscore app?

I am using iPad with AT&T service. Tweets from the twitter app directly work just fine.

As noted by a user above, Twitter disabled v1.0 of their API today, and iScore was using that version of the API. We did not get any notification from Twitter that this was going to happen --- we guess they expect us to watch their developer site regularly. Since our focus is actually iScore itself, that is what we spend our time working on, not watching for Twitter to break their existing functionality.

We have updated iScore to use the next generation of Twitter for the next iScore update. The Android update will likely be out tomorrow. For iOS devices, we already have a release awaiting Apple approval, and will submit another right after this one is approved that will include Twitter updates.

Twitter should then work as normal until Twitter decides to make v1.1 of their API not work any more without notifying us.

Thanks for taking care of this. It's unfortunate that twitter did this but I am glad that your focus is on your product. Great app. Keep up he good work.

Same problem here with the twittercast failing suddenly yesterday. Very impressed with your support system here. Thanks. Looking forward to the update.

how long does it typically take for Apple to approve an update in the app store? In re-reading your response it makes me think it is a slow process ... with state baseball tournament this weekend I was hoping for a "quick" fix.

Apple can take anywhere from a couple days to a week typically. The version we had previously submitted was just approved today, so we will be submitting an update to Apple today to address the Twitter issue.
