I have an issue with registering a remote device. My coach would like to access the scoring from my device with his. I am easily able to register and manage data with my various devices (iPad, iPhone,iPod Touch), but when I tried to register his iOS device, I encountered an invalid username and/or password message. Here's how we tried. On HIS device, we registered HIS ID and original password. The next instruction is to go to Account tab and enter an email address and name. We entered HIS email and name. I hit the Register button and got the message that an email confirmation would be sent to that address. I realized that I may have to enter MY email address (I don't know for sure). So, I backtracked, still on his device, and entered MY email address along with his name and hit Register.
Back on my device, I got the confirmation email, clicked on it and was presented with a change password screen. I changed the password from the ORIGINAL listed on HIS device to the password I use on all MY devices. I got a successful alert of password change on my device. I then returned to HIS device and tried to log into the my.iscorecentral.com site. When presented with login screen, I entered HIS id and the CHANGED password. I got the alert that either username and/or password was incorrect. I never responded to the confirmation email that HE received. Should I have done that instead?
If I should respond on HIS device to HIS email confirmation, what info should I enter in that login space? Ultimately, I need to copy my info to the coaches device under MY account tab using the Mange button. And AFTER I get this resolved, does my coach have to use the Data Sharing function in Options, in order to receive latest scores, teams, etc? Also, what will need to be entered in HIS Login to Database screen, MY customer ID and HIS changed password or MY customer ID and MY password. It gets a little confusing here, sorry.
For the 4 or so years I have used iScore Baseball, I have had a ball using it and have gotten nothing but high praise from those who have witnessed its results and operation. It would be so nice if all the teams in our league used the app.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Managing data on Remote device with another Owner
You would not want to register his device to your email.
You would just use Data Sharing to transfer games. After you score a game, do an Options -> Export. The coach would then use Data Sharing and enter your customer ID and password (you can create a password specifically just for sharing on the Admin Website), and he will then be able to import the games from your device. See the following link for more information on data sharing:

Re: Managing data on Remote device with another Owner
What can I do if his device has shown up on my account registration list for managing data. Can he/should he change that status back to his control? Can he still get my data from data sharing tab on his device with special password I have created? I/He has not tried anything further to get data yet, but the first time I tried it, the error message that I originally wrote about popped up. What can I do if we get stuck on his device doing any data sharing. And if I copy my data to his device from my account, has he any recourse to make his app behave the way it should? I hope this i not as confusing to you as it is for me. Please advise.
Thanks

Re: Managing data on Remote device with another Owner
You can leave his device attached to your account if you would like. If you have it set that way now, you can transfer the full data from your device to his with this link instead:
http://iscoresports.com/baseball/kb/faq ... lldata.php
Going forward, you can either use the steps at that link again, or you can use data sharing to just transfer individual games as they are scored. With data sharing, the "retrieving" of the game must be done from his device after you have exported from yours.

Re: Managing data on Remote device with another Owner
If his account is associated with your email, then when he signs in, he is going to see your devices as well.
If you would like us to unregister his device from your account, send an email to support@iscoresports.com with that customer ID, and we can un-register the device for you.
