Odd behavior with the coach-pitch option

Hello all,

I tried searching for this, but could not come up with anything.

My daughter plays on an 8U softball team, and after 4 balls, the coach will come in to pitch the remaining strikes. When this happens in the play-by-play you will see where the coach comes in, but a majority of the time after the batter, it will not replace the coach with the previous pitcher.

After the game, I need to go through the play-by-play and substitute the pitcher back into the position. If I do not do this, the remaining pitching stats will be applied to the next pitcher that is put into position.

I have tried several different things, I make sure I have a pitcher set in the starting lineup, and make sure there is a pitcher set before each inning, nothing seems to affect this behavior.

This also does not happen all the time, it seems random. After each game I need to go through the pitch-by-pitch and make corrections to ensure the stats are applied to the correct pitchers for the whole game.

If you have a game where the coach came in and the original pitcher is not put back in at the conclusion of the at bat (for the start of the next batter), please do an Options -> Export, and email us your customer ID, game, inning, and which player it is, and we can take a look to see what is going on.
