iScore crashed on my Andriod Samsung, after into the inning 4 batters. After restarting restarting iScore and opening the game it pick back up where I left off.

SO I thought, apparently it messed up the line up, and added Marisol Cerda as the 11 slot, and moved the 11th slot down to the 12th slot. It wouldn't have been so bad accept it added him as batting. WHen I got to the top of the line batting I noticed I was behind one batter. Trying to keep up the action on the field, I skip the batter and the correct batter moves to the right position. Knowing I could correct this error after the game, I preceeded and the next time we came up to the top of the batting it happened agian, I once agian skipped the batter.

Afterwards while trying to correct the the problem, I noticed the Marisol Cerda entry in the line up. I went to the PLay-by-paly and scrolled down to the point that showed the "Skipped" batter. However, when I click edit, it comes up blank, I can't get the "Skipped Batter" entry removed.

How do I remove the entry "Skipped Batter"?

You can not remove skip batter entries. They will be there permanently because you had that lineup spot filled, and it was skipped while scoring. It has no effect on stats.

It does change the stats in this case, because the bat actually went to a "Marisol", so the hitter is showing only 1 AB, when he actually had 3. And this Marisol is on the team stats and should not be.

I changed the name and number of Marisol to match that of the skipped batter, is there a way to merge the two?

You would not want to change a player (unless it was a new player that did not represent anyone already). If you have created two players that represent the same person, you can merge them by going to Player Manager, selecting the Merge option, then selecting one version of the player in the left list, and the other version in the right list, then tapping the Merge button in the upper right.
