I often use the flex/dp option however since the flex is not batting they do not show up in the scorebook. So it looks like no one is playing that position. Then if the flex bats in the DP spot it does not show a position. Is there a way to put the Flex player in the book and not have them bat?

If you are referring to the Scorecard, the scorecard only shows players that bat. The statistics pages will show the correct statistics for both the DP and Flex.
