Derek Lowe is not on the Rangers active roster. Discovered tonight while scoring the opening of the 2013 season. Lowe entered the game, but he was nowhere to be found on he Rangers roster in iScore.

Our data source did not have Derek Lowe on the active roster when it updated at 5:30am pacific.

We are going to be changing to twice a day roster updates to try and prevent this from happening in the future.

Sorry for the trouble.

I had a similar problem at the Rays game tonight niemann was place on the DL and Brandon Gomes was brought up to replace and he came into the game in the eight inning. When I tried to correct post game, Gomes was still not on roster how do I fix the roster since it still hasn't been updated and Neimann went on the DL 4/5! Thanks for your help!

We are not sure why, but ESPN still has Niemann on the active roster, and Gomes on the Minor roster as seen here:

http://espn.go.com/mlb/team/roster/_/na ... a-bay-rays

(Of course, this could change at any time, but as of the time of this post, that is what the active roster shows. We use the same source for rosters as the ESPN site.)

We will see if we can find why they are behind.

It will not automatically modify the Lineup for your game. Lineups are snapshots in time that would not always match the team roster. Go to Game Manager, select the game, select Pitch by Pitch, tap the Game Starts event, then tap Edit next to Starting Lineup. Select the right team, then Add Player and add Gomes ( you can find him in the list if players) - be sure to set Batting = No. Then scroll to the pitch just before he comes in and tap that pitch. Then tap Edit next to substitutions. Then sub him in.
