Runner advance on a passed ball 4
Runner advance on a passed ball 4
Situation. Runner on second (#1). Batter (#2) is walked, but ball 4 was a passed ball so the runner on second (#1) advanced to third and the batter walked (#1) advanced to second (he is fast and its a long backstop). In the scorebook it credits the passed ball for both runner and batter to the next batter (#3) (PB3). Is that correct?

Re: Runner advance on a passed ball 4
You should enter the Pass Ball first to advance the runner, then the 4th ball in this siutation.

That will work for #1 runner but how do I get the batter to second on that passed ball while he is still batting?

Re: Runner advance on a passed ball 4
Enter the 4th ball, and when it asks what happened to the runner at 1st (the batter), enter Safe, Second, Passed Ball.
