Offensive subs

I have properly made substitutions. But, the sub is not showing up when I input the data for the batter. The original batter is receiving all the stats. I tried moving around the original lineup but the original batter is still getting the stat. How do I ensure the correct batter is up receiving the stats?

Training video 3 at this site shows how to do substitutions properly:

I did exactly it said to do but still the name of the sub still does not show up to bat. All it states is "substitute.". But the old name still remains for the at bat.

It sounds like maybe you are doing a defensive substitution and not an offensive substitution. Be sure you have the player you want to sub in on offense set to Batting = NO in the starting lineup, and when the sub screen comes up, make sure you select Offense from the Defense / Offense selector. Tap the lineup position at the top you want to sub for, then tap the player in the bottom section of players listed for who you want to go into that lineup spot. This will perform the offensive substitution.
