Twitter cast

This past weekend the twitter cast function would send out an update text after every inning as opposed to just the start and end of the game. I have never had this issue before. Was this a part of a new update? How can I go about having the inning by inning updates disabled? Received a lot of complaints from followers due to the excessive texts.

I don't think there is currently an option to adjust this. FTM has indicated that it's on their enhancement list.

I hope this is adjusted soon. People don't like the every half inning tweets. Before and after games is great, plus I liked the option of sending occasional tweets every 2 or 3 innings. Do we have a time frame for this change?

This is a change that was made last year at customer requests. You can turn off the Twittercast if you would like. We do not have a timeframe for when it will become "optional" to send the automatic tweets.

Needs to have the option to turn the half inning updates OFF. Very annoying to users who do not want that. My Twitter is tied to my Facebook. I like the ability to tell friends about the teams games, but they really don't want to see every half inning of every game. Especially in tournament situations when you play three or four games a day.

I want to second this feature.

Specially, what I would like is

1) Tweet to start the game. This one is important because it contains the link to follow the game on the web.
2) Tweet of the end game results.

All of the other tweets are annoying and just spam my facebook page (I have twitter tied to my facebook). My parents can easily follow their grandchildren's baseball games by following the first link in the twitter/facebook posts. The other method of finding a game by going to a website and enter a random set of letters and digits just doesn't work well for the older generation as I've noticed.

If I turn off the twitter cast there isn't way to get the tweet for the game link automatically, correct? None of the manual tweet contain that.

I realize I can email the link but that isn't very friendly either. It doesn't remember the email address, in addition, it's just email. I want it on the facebook and twitter because that is where most of the folks are that want to follow.
