I scored a Strat-O-Matic game tonight and for the home team, the ERA isn't calculating even though there were earned runs during the game. Here's some information about the game:

The ER column is the number of earned runs. There are no earned runs in the game, and therefore there is a 0 ERA. The "R" column is the runs scored, but ER is earned runs.

Doh, I highlighted the wrong column, my bad. I just went through the play by play, it seems like there should have been some earned runs counted...maybe I'm missing some nuance in scoring rules, but there were a few runs that should have been earned as I understand it...

If you want to recap an inning from the first batter to the last where you think some earned runs were not counted, we can go through it.

The L Smith run should be unearned because of the error
Wouldn't the Iorg run be earned because he reached on a double, and then was plated by another double?
Also, McGee and Smith, Oberkfell, Hernandez runs should all be earned as well

What am I missing? I'm not a scoring expert, so I could very well be missing something trivial here.

The out by T Herr should have been the third out of the inning if it was played with error free fielding, and no earned runs would have scored. Therefore all runs after that point are unearned.

Ahh yes. I hadn't thought about it that way. I was just so pissed that I gave up that many runs that I didn't realize the Herr error should have been an out...
