The other day, I noticed a few difference in the behavior in iscorecasting playback in HTML vs Flash viewers. Do not recall them being posted on forum before. and not sure if correctable or not. may be a technical limitation of HTML viewers
1) Undo / 'correction in progress'
The flash viewer will report "correction in progress" when undo used on the device, and then automatically update the text on the right 'pitch by pitch' panel in flash viewer. (example Ball undo strike strike, results in strike strike in flash viewer pitch by pitch text and ball strike counter correct at 0-2)
However The HTML viewer does not give the "correction in progress" heads up, and leaves the mis entered activity - unless you refresh browser. Instead it displays both the wrong and correct activity. eg ball, undo strike strike will read ball strike strike. but the counter will correct itself from 1-0 to 0-2). however if you "refresh" the browser, it will show only the correct text ( eg strike strike)
2. Previous Play notes
in the HTML viewer PREVIOUS PLAY notes do not show up automatically, unless you hit browser refresh. (in flash version both previous play and next play notes show up automatically w/o browser refresh)
3. Starting line up
Similarly, misc > show starting line up changes on the device show up automatically on the flash viewer without browser refresh but require browser refresh on HTML version.
Was not sure if these are know limitations in the HTML viewer or correctable to match behavior in FLASH version . If fixable, would like to see the HTML version behave like the Flash version in this type of thing.
