iScore Crash

I started seeing a weird crash on iScore today. The app launches OK, but when I go into Game Manager and try to configure a new game (set batting order for existing teams and then pre-load field positions), I get frequent crashes and most recent changes to lineup are lost. I can also launch the app, and leave it running for a couple of minutes and the app crashes on its own without any user input.

I optimized the database on my.iscorecentral.com thinking it was a db corruption, then, when I still saw crashes, removed iScore completely from my ipad, rebooted and reloaded the app, then Imported db again.

Any ideas on what I can do to determine where corruption/issue is?

I have a first gen ipad 3G/Wifi with latest updates. All other apps appear to be running smoothly.

Thx!

Have not heard of people experiencing this issue, but if you can do an Options -> Export, and email us your customer ID and the specific steps you are doing that lead to a crash, we can try and reproduce it with your data to see what might be causing it. Send email to support@iscoresports.com.

I ended up repaving my iPad today since support couldn't reproduce the error with my data.

I'm scoring a game tonight so we' ll see if a repave resolved.

Looks like the issue was resolved with repaving the ipad and reinstalling iScore. The sync worked flawlessly, and I had none of the crash issues I was seeing yesterday. I suspect there was just some weird corruption on the ipad, and iScore was the first app to encounter the issue.

Thanks to the iScore support folks for trying to duplicate the issue using my data/steps. Helped me get to a resolution faster.

"Repaving" is just a reset to factory state: full reinstall of the firmware and software so you have a "completely new" platform. It took longer to back up my media off of the ipad than it did to reset to factory defaults and reload fw/sw and apps.

Sorry for the confusion. Things worked well again today. Big championship game Saturday.
