Walk Incorrectly Charged to Relief Pitcher

First of all, this is just a fantastic app. I've been using it now for 3 years and I am continually impressed.

I believe I stumbled on to a minor bug in the stats. Pither A starts an inning and throws 3 balls to the batter. The pitcher is then replaced due to injury. Pitcher B then throws 1 strike and 1 ball, walking the batter. I believe the walk should be charged to pitcher A but it showed up in the stats charged to pitcher B.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks,
Dave

Thank you for pointing this out. We will put it on our list for future enhancements. It is probably something that is very rare, so probably will not be a high priority. It is also possible that not all leagues have the same rules in that regard.

The good news is you can manually override this directly in the stats by going to Game Manager, selecting the game, selecting Pitching Stats for the appropriate team, then tap the Walks field for each of the pitchers and adjust accordingly.

Very rare. In fact it only happened during a recent StL Cardinals game so I decided to test it out.

Thank you for your reply and work around.

It may be rare, but if the technical logic in iscore does not follow MLB rules, 10.16 h. I would hope this to be higher on the list than not.. There are very black and white rules in 10.16 h, regarding relief pitchers and inherited counts.. Impacts era and other stats..
