Upgraded to 1.65.08

Had to make some adjustments to lineup while game was in progress, opposing team late with line-up so I had entered just player numbers and was adding names throughout game. Was on scoring screen and pushed Lineup, made my corrections and chose Save. When I returned to scoring screen all the numbers from the fielding and base runners had disappeared. Not question marks, just blank. First time I didn't notice immediately and continued scoring only to realize that the scoring was not advancing either. Had to stop and restart app and play catch-up from book. 2nd time I noticed right away and stop and restarted to correct.

This is an issue we have had reported before (and seen ourselves), but we are unable to reproduce it with any consistency. As you noticed, exiting and re-entering the app will fix it.

If ANYONE can reproduce this with any consistency, please let us know. We have not been able to figure out what the cause is because it seems to happen kind of randomly. If anyone has steps to reproduce this issue, please let us know.

We have spent many, many hours trying to reproduce intentionally, and never seem to be able to.

Same thing happened to me. Fielders white circles are blank (no number or question mark) on main game play display screen.

(I thought it was just me / operator error. so did not think much about it. I too was able to get them back by just exiting/restarting.) Will keep an eye out for "next time" and see if i can replicate / provide more specific situation info.

when it happened to me... I was using latest 1.6x patch version, recall i too started with a generic 'other team', then added numbers and names as i went, also as it is a youth league, I did multiple substitutions between each inning. sometimes i would experience the blank numbers and sometimes not when coming back to play screen from lineup and/or substitution screens.

not sure much help, but thought i would post my expereince if it helps trigger ideas on how to solve..

I tried again after last update, and it did seem to be isolated to only happening on the visitor team.

I had happen again last game.. again on visitor team only.
as promised, would pass on the scenerio.. so it may help troubleshoot / repeat errir

this game was a bit different, int that i was only tracking opposing (visiting) team pitcher but not other positions.. so fielding sunstitutions was minimal


Here is how i did it..
I set up game as ususal,
score game, new, home team from pick list, visitor team from generic team created in team manager. ie generic 12 man team. using only first name and number fields ...ie .,first name = player 1, last name =blank, number =1,... then player 2, number 2, player 3 number 3 etc etc till player 12 enetered. all set up as batting but no fielding position assigned.
When i got the line up from opposing coach pre game, only got players names but not numbers. so before play began i went back and edited all the generic player names wit real name (in first name field).. but left player numbers geenric until player came to plate when then iwould assign the real number to the name. When home team came to bat, I assigned the vistor pitcher (only), by clicking on the pitcher (?) circle icon and then assigning pitcher. to player pitching.. later when they changed pitchers in third inning, i did the same edit.. click on circle with picther number and changed number. then screen went to all circles (no ?).

Thank you for posting the steps you took... it will help as we try and narrow this down.

I've had this happen almost every time I've used the app now. Here's my specifics.

Since I'm not official scorekeeper we don't get names before game of opposing team. I can only enter the number of players I can see before game starts. Our players (sometimes home, sometimes visitor) are all filled out but change field positions. We always have 14 players on the roster on our team entered into lineup before beginning thegame. Other team is always 10 or less.

I start scoring game and at least one runner has been on base (doesn't have to be there at the time of error). There is always at least one point scored for either team as well. I go into lineup and add a player (new player) using only a their jersey number then press Play button. When I come back the players are gone. Once I noticed it was fine until the inning changed and then the players disappeared.
