I am looking at both the individual games and season stats for our team, and I can't understand the RPA. I assumed it was R/AB, but this isn't what is reported. Am I misinterpreting this stat? In one of our games for example we have
player 1 PA=4, AB=2, R=4, RPA=1.5, but R/AB would =2.
player 2 PA=4, AB=4, R=3, RPA=1.75, but R/AB would =.75.
player 3 PA=4, AB=4, R=4, RPA=2, but R/AB would be 1.
There must be something else that I am missing, but I can't figure it out.
Thanks.

Re: runs per at bat
The calculation we are using for RPA is:
(runs + rbis) / Plate Appearances
Thank you.
