Scorecard showing G instead of L

We scored a batter for a line drive out and the pitch by pitch text says line drive but the scorecard is putting a G instead of an L.

I have tried this on my Ipad and the scorecard correctly shows an L. What are the touch steps you are taking for more detail? Can you post the steps that we can try to repeat it on our Ipad?
Any chance that if you hit line drive, then on the location screen if you hit soft that you may be hitting grounder below it?

My son is doing the scoring on the iPad, of course, he's in bed asleep already - got school tomorrow.
Today it was part of an unassisted triple play. Bases were loaded batter hit line drive to 3rd baseman who caught the ball, then stepped on the plate for the FO of the runner that left the base then tagged the runner coming from 2nd.
I just created a game and it is defaulting to medium line drive on the location screen. I really can't imagine that he'd be trying to change to a soft line drive and I don't think someone would call a line drive to 3rd soft? I'll have to ask him during the day. The other game was a line drive to the pitcher and I'm sure he wouldn't have called that soft. In both cases, his sister was the defensive player, but he gives her credit where credit is due - at least for softball.

Wow great play at third.
If it were just once I might dismiss it as a finger error accidentally touching grounder, but it seems it happened twice so there may be more too it. If you can post the sequence of touches that created the G vs L that would be most helpful to FTM.

I just checked and the other one was actually an unassisted double play. She caught the line drive at pitcher and got the player out that was on 2nd.
I will ask him the exact steps he took and report back.

I asked him and he did not change the items at the bottom, he left it at medium for the line drive.

Aimee, I saw in another thread that this is an issue with some other users. True to form FTM is resolving the issue for the next release, I'm sure we will see it soon.
