iScorecast - update issues

Running thru a test game on my ipad and following the scorecast on my iphone, I noticed some things dont update on the scorecast.

Roster doesnt appear to update. So, if I create a "quick roster" and then edit the players as they come up, the scorecast continues to show the generic names.

Also, when I made defensive switch the positions for those players disappeared. I.e. if I switched the P to SS and SS to P, they both now show no position in the scorecast.

Mark.

Both of these things should be working fine --- we will add them to our list of things to look at. Thank you.

Today I noticed that doing a refresh in the browser, updated the players names, but they still were not coming across with the automatic game updates.

I am trying to get ready for HS season and attempting to optimize my database to my.iscorecentral.com. According to my Iphone, I have successfully exported the data. My.iscorecentral is not showing that I have. However, I-scorecast is showing this weekend's games I have entered. Something doesnt seem to be synching for me.

iScorecast has it's own server that is separate from your device. If you have iScorecast enabled while scoring games, and have an internet connection, they automatically get sent up to the iScorecast server. If a game does not appear on the iScorecast server, you can go to Game Manager, select the game, and select "i-Scorecast Synchronize" to send that game up to the iScorecast server. If there are games on the iScorecast server that you want to remove, you can log in to your Admin Website by going to Options->Admin Website on your device, and following the instructions there for how to log in to your Admin Website from a computer. You can remove iScorecasts from there.

Took a closer look at this again and here is what I am seeing:

If I make a change to the player name or number using Misc->Show Starting Lineup->(Select Player);
iScoecast on iPhone - No update occurs automatically, but will update if you refresh the browser
iScoecast on PC - Update will occur automatically with next update

If I make the change to the player name or number using method of clicking on the batter to bring up the lineup and clicking on the blue arrow to get to the Player Info screen;
iScoecast on iPhone - No update occurs (even with browser refresh)
iScoecast on PC - No update occurs (even with browser refresh)

Two concerns here:

1) If I am working with a Quick Roster, I would prefer to use the method of click on batter and editing his name there until I get all names entered.
2) I could use Misc->Show Starting Lineup->(Select Player), but would still be faced with the problem of iphone (and presumably all phones???) viewers not seeing the changes unless they knew to refresh...something they would need to continue to do until all players were entered.

Any chance for a resolution to this?

Thanks as always,
Mark.

Is the iscorecast PC the Flash version (looks like a scoreboard) or the HTML version (mostly white screen with small graphic and head shots ).. have you tried the HTML version on the PC? any difference? .
If I make a change to the player name or number using Misc->Show Starting Lineup->(Select Player);
iScoecast on iPhone - No update occurs automatically, but will update if you refresh the browser
iScoecast on PC - Update will occur automatically with next update

When you make below changes in this way, are they reflected on the device in misc show starting line up, and player manager?

Flash version. PC HTML version acts the same as on iphone, no updates even when refreshed if using the click on batter approach.

Good question. Surprisingly, yes. The update shows there, but never makes its way to the HTML viewer.

now over my head.. have to take the bench and let the Relief pitchers from FTM come it and get the save.
