Edit pitch by pitch out option

Tried to change a hit to an out, in the pitch by pitch mode but the screen wont let me change safe to out. I made a mistake and give him a hit then out on the throw, my only option was to score it an error.

You can't make game-changing edits, such as switching a hit to an out, in play by play.

The reason you can not change some events after the fact in pitch by pitch editor is because in baseball, not all events are isolated and independent, iscore tries to preclude edits that would impact later plays..

But iscore allows you to over ride stats if you need to..

If it happened near the end of the game, you can undo back to the point you missed it, correct play, and re-enter the plays after that point.

If it happened early in the game, you may want to just edit the stats directly --- go to Game Manager, select the game, select appropriate Stats for the team with the miss, then tap the value for that player and change the count. This will update statistics automatically.

You can then go back to the Pitch by Pitch listing and add a note to the play just saying t actually happened.
