I just read v2.85 "fixed issue where game statistics required players to be in the Team Roster." I have players and games assigned to the 2010 season but if I remove them from roster and run stats for that season, any player not on the current roster does not have their stats show up. I want to have one team roster I can change every year yet see stats of former players using league feature. Can't seem to make it work. Any advice? Thanks

For TEAM statistics, the players have to be on the Roster --- that is how the team is determined.

For GAME statistics, the player does not have to be on the roster to be included in the game statistics report.

You can view all stats for any player regardless of their past or current team by viewing the Player Card for a player.

Scotty, i don't think you are missing it. I have not been able to figure out a way to do that either. Perhaps someone else has. But iscore just does not seem wired to handle it that way. As flexible and powerful as leagues are, they do not seem to help in this specific situation.

Over the past years, for my youth teams, I have done both, taken a team year to year and created new teams each year.. In hindsight, I think new teams each year, works better when you have significant turnover. (when material is a judgement call). Even with multiple teams, leagues are important, and You can still see cumulative player stats by year in both ways, just the new team a year way let's you also see "that team" stats quicker..

Possible idea for future enhancement list, (archive last year roster) but not sure how FTM would make it happen, or if the tradeoffs would be worth it. The way it is structured now makes a lot of since and it allows you to pick up weekend players, drop players and keeps the focus on the here and now current roster, not saddled with constantly seeing last years departures. But I also see the value in not loosing history on who was the roster last year..

This is an interesting Challange.. In the end, If you think of teams by year, because of the turnover, a new team a year makes sense
