Lineup shanges

I set up a game bewteen 2 team. Ours and another.

I set up our team along with the lines and then did a quick lineup for the other team.

At game time, I selected the game and play and the lineup was not the same, I had to re-order the last minute.

Is there a way to keep the same lineup game to game?

After you create the lineup the way you want it in a *game* click "options" and then "lineup->roster"

Yes, you can have a single default line up you use game to game,

The key is to understand the relationship between " team roster" and "game line up" and use them effectively. They are two different things.

When you create a new game (created in game manager) the default "starting line up" is pulled from your current "team roster" (created in game manager).

You are free to make changes to your " game line up" as you need (switch order, add one time pick up player, remove a sick, missing player etc) and not impact your team roster, b/c changes you make to the "game line up" after the set up are independent of your ongoing "team roster". Likewise any change to your "team roster" (eg player trade or player add/delete), are not reflected in your past "game line ups". That is the basic relationship. Changes in one do not neccesarily impact the other. They are only related when you set up a new game.

Now as jbeckman points out, sometimes you want your ongoing "team roster" to look like your most recent "game linenup", to do that you must manually copy the line up back to the roster by line up >options> copy line up to roster..

Then roster now ready for use as default line up for next new game...
