Updates to Game Times Off by Two Hours

Post by hw3133 » Mon Oct 11, 2010 4:10 pm

I noticed that when I updated the start and end times for a previously scored game, the hour is off by 2 (i.e. I select 2pm and press ok, 4pm is listed under Game Dates). I'm running version 2.80.98.

It's not a huge problem since the work around is to select a time 2 hours earlier that what you really want.

BTW - I love this app!

I just noticed this too. I haven't had time to post it. I used the same workaround. I checked my time zone and clock and everything else looked fine.

I have an additional problem to go with the wrong times being displayed...when I enter the date, it shows as a day later...so I have to enter the date a day early and the time 6hrs later!

e.g. for a game played on 9 October at 3:43pm-5:30pm, I had to enter 8 October 9:43pm-11:30pm...very weird...

I can replicate the hour shift problem on v2.81 iPhone but not v 2.81 iPad...

This is only when editing the time, the automatic start and stop time stamp is fine,

When i go to edit the start or stop time on the iPhone, it not only saves wrong, but starts off wrong, (example, if the date stamp was 6, the edit wheel starts at 3) and if i set edit wheel to 7 , will save as 10. FYI my hours shift is by 3 hours others have been two hours, (I am eastern time zone, wonder if 2 hour shifts were central time zone).

I could not replicate the day shift problem (unless within the +/- 3 hours of midnight).

We will look into this issue ... sounds like a timezone issue.

FTM, has this been addressed yet? Scored a tournament this last weekend and for one of the games I had to adjust the clock after the game had started, but before it ended. The edit wheels were off by one hour. I am in the Mountain TZ. Not a huge deal and I can work around it.

We have not submitted a fix for this yet. It is a top priority however. Thank you.

Same problem here. Fine with automatic, but when I have to recreate a game (due to a scoring error) the time is off from what I select.
