Can't email post-game stats

I've used iScore for an entire spring season without any problems, but this fall, the last 2 games I received the message "The email could not be sent at this time." To troubleshoot, I emailed stats from an old game from the spring, and it went through. But again, these two recent games failed to go through. What's up?

We have actually identified and fixed an issue for this. We will be submitting the fix to Apple after v2.81 is approved. It happens if one of the teams does not have any players in their Team Roster. To fix the issue, go to Game Manager, select the game you are unable to send emails for, select Pitch by Pitch, select the Game Starts event, tap the Edit button next to starting lineup. For each team's starting lineup, tap the Options button in the bottom right, and do a "Copy Lineup->Roster". This will copy the current lineup for the team back to the Team Roster.

You will only have to do this for games scored where the Team Roster does not have the players listed in it. If you are adding games to the Lineup at game time instead of to the Team Roster before games, you can always use the "Copy Lineup->Roster" functionality to fill in the Team Roster with the updates you make at game time.

I ran into this problem in a slightly different fashion. I just had a team we played last season so the team name existed as did a full roster of players. They completely changed their entire roster. I didn't remember this issue and was pressed for time and forgot to copy the lineup to the roster. After the game I could not e-mail like normal. I did find that I could e-mail if I turned off csv format. All other formats could be turned on. After I copied the lineup over, I could e-mail all formats including csv. Hopefully the new fix will correct this problem also. I wanted to report it just in case.

We have this fixed and will be submitting an update this weekend for both iPhone and iPad versions.

mine stopped e-mailing in the middle of my stats. it worked for everything except my scoreboard. it said it was successful but it wasn't.whats my problem?? :cry:

If you can try again, and put "support@iscorecentral.com" as one of the recipients of the email, we can take a look. After doing that, also please email us your Customer ID (bottom left of Options screen in iScore) and be sure to do an Options->Export so we have a copy of your database. Thank you.

Also, check to be sure you are using most current version of the ap? V2.85
