application quites when I select "play"

I set up a new league, new teams and 3 games on the iPad. I then exported all info to website. I entered the players for each of the teams. I re-imported info back into iPad. Then when I went to select "play" on the game, the application quits. It quits on all the games. I tried deleting one of the futre games and re-entering it, but it still quits. HELP! I need to score these upcoming games in a tournament and can't do so.

What have you tried already? Have you powered off and rebooted your iPad?

Yes, I have. I thought that maybe it was because I had originally set up "quick rosters" for each of the opposing teams and then went in and added players. But I don't think that's it.

Are you using an iPad? If so, our guess is that when this is happening, you do not have at least one player set to Batting=YES for one of the teams in the rosters. Go to Team Manager, and for each team, make sure at least one player has Batting=YES. You can change which players are batting at game time, but we identified an issue where if at least one player does not have Batting=YES set, it can cause a crash.
We have already submitted a fix to Apple for this and asked for an expedited review. It is part of the v2.81 update. Apple sent us an email today saying they are granting the expedited review (we submitted the fix last Friday, so the definition of expedited is relative). We are hoping that means approval today or tomorrow.

Yes, I did make sure that I have one batter selected, as I know that has been a problem in the past. I have tried exporting/importing again. I was able to select "play for two of the games, the 3rd one crashed the app again. But oddly enough, when I checked the rosters for the opposing teams on the games I was actually able to open, I still had the quicy roster in there. All the players that I entered online cm in correctly and are associated with the correct team/league. But they are not showing up in the rosters for these particular games.
And now, I am completely locked out of the administrative site. My username and password are not working. What is going on?

Also...a lot of the information, i.e. players' positions, did not come over from the website to the iPad when I reimported.

Next, I tried deleting the teams and the games from my iPad, and reimporting the data from the website. It brought the teams and games back in. But I still have the problem with one of the games quitting and the other two having"quick" rosters instead of all the players I entered online.

bit Late to thread.
one thing i noticed in the first post .. the order of events was problematic. you can not edit a game roster after the fact through team manager roster.
when you create a new game, it pulls from the roster at the moment.
you said you created the new team and the new game before completeing the roster on line, if that is the sequence you did, that is a problem for the game created "it does not know". the game can not pull from the roster after the game is created, regardless of how you edit the roster after the fact (from web or handheld).
so it is not odd that if you could open a game it had the intial quick roster.
It sounds like your device now has up to date Teams in Team Manager, if so, try and create new games from those up dated teams (again, making sure at least one has bat = yes)
they should work. then deleate the old bad games,.
