Exporting data from my Iphone

Post by cdave » Thu Sep 02, 2010 11:16 am

When I try to export data from my iPhone, it says Unsuccessful, the data could not be exported. I have tried this several times and it will not export. I just checked the online site and it hasn't been updated since April 2010 (even though I have exported several times, though I wasn't obviously paying attention). Am I doing something wrong?

We just verified that our servers are working fine and tested export with no issues.

The usual cause of unsuccessful export is a bad internet connection. If you open Safari on your device, are you able to browse to http://iscorecentral.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;? That tests that your device is able to connect to our server. Another thing some people have done is a full reboot of the device to re-establish both the 3G connecton and the WiFi connection on their device. To do this, power off your device completely -- hold power button until you get the "slide to power off" message, then slide the button to power the device off, and then press the power button to turn it back on after it has completely shut down.

When you say your data has not been updated since April, where are you seeing this? On the http://my.iscorecentral.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; site? Another issue that people seem to have is they get a new device and are not aware that a new device gives them a new customer ID. Go to Options->Admin Website from within iScore and be sure when you are logging in that you are using the Customer ID that is displayed on that screen.

cdave,
Another suggestion is to not let your iPhone go to sleep during export. I have many games so the export is large, if I don't touch the screen to prevent sleep I get an unsuccessful message as well.
