Hi,
I want to track games without keeping track of pitches, however if i do so the stats still show first pitch strike and strikes and balls trown, just by multipying bb by 4 and k's by 3.
Is it possible to turn this off as this Will mess up stats for games where i did keep track of pitches?

We do not currently have a way to selectively show only certain stats. Allowing people to select only the stats they want to see is on our enhancement list. In the mean time, you can export to any of a variety of formats, and remove the columns you do not want to see.

I thought i recalled a prior post by FTM that suggested the on/off selectability of stat columns was part of the upcoming next release, I guess I stand corrected.

Hi, i understand i can remove stats, but when i have for instance two games for my team one with pitches recorded and one without, the season stats will be messed up if the pitcher has trown bb or k's in the game without pithces as for example first pitch strike would not make sense anymore as strikes are recorded for at bats with a k as result.

I am not sure i follow why you have some recorded and some not, (perhaps one set of games are for scrimages, and you do not record, and the other are league games for which you record all. you can seperate the stats by using leagues, Assign the games that you do not use to a league and the ones you do to another league. Turn on only the league you care about in league manager, then go to your team in team manager and choose team stats. you will see only stats for the league you have turned on..

additonally everytihng is emailable in excel where you can manually add/hide columns at will. til the ability to user select stat columns is available in the core software. .

Thanks,
Using different leagues sound like a good work around, but it is to my opinion still not logical to record balls and strikes when pitches are not recorded, as only at bats with k or bb as result have pitches.
For your clarification why i do not always record pitches is because i do not allways score from a positions where i can clearly see wether a pitch is inside or outside.

I definitely understand being out of position and as such not able to do detailed pitch entry screen ( location, type and speed details). the software is flexible in that it lets folks skip that level of data entry if they do not want.
When you cannot see inside/outside high/low location, do you not track balls, strikes, (called or swinging), fouls etc? to me that adds information to the scorecard and at bat even if not tracking detailed pitch info. But again, the software is flexible in its data entry,. if you want you can skip pitch by pitch ball/strike and just go to 'in play' or out. is that what you do.?
