"Could Not Retrieve Games"

Hello,

I've recently acquired an iPad and purchased the iScore application for it. I had been using iScore on my iPhone for about 6 months prior. I tried to iScorecast my first game from the iPad last night and no one could retrieve the game.

I've used other folks iPads and scored on two different iPhones. And the "viewers" have been watching the games for 6 months, so I'm going to tentatively rule out user error.

Any other ideas on why we get the message "Could Not Retrieve Games"?

The ID is AE2DEFA961.

I imported one game and then scored another, neither show up in my Viewer for that ID.

Any help would be appreciated.

-ik

Just entered your customer ID on the iScorecast screen, and it brought up a game just fine. Make sure you have iScorecast enabled prior to starting the scoring of the game (Options -> iScorecast should have the ON selector next to it). As long as it is enabled prior to starting the game and you have internet connectivity (3G or otherwise), you should be good to go. If you have games you have scored that did not get up to the iScorecast server that you want to make available, you can go to Game Manager, select the game, then click "i-Scorecast Synchronize" to send it up to the iScorecast server.

I pulled up the iscorecast index for both viewers too
shows the 8/8 Sun Devlis 14 at La Verne Extreme 3 game on both the flash and non flash viewers

http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecas ... AE2DEFA961" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecas ... 1&replay=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

seeing as how you are an expereinced user, lets try and trouble shoot

first, are you using and emailing the right links w/ the new unit iscorecast portal.. as you know each device has a unique customer id number..

can you try 're syncing' a game that is not posted, makeing sure the ipad has good internet connectivity, if that works. great, if not post back

then try a test game broadcast with option>iscorecast on and see if it is updating play by play real time. if so great, if not email back the test failed.

we can go from there..
