If I touch a runner on base and select Pinch Runner, it brings up the lineup and allows the change. However it always seems to remove the Ball-Strike-Foul-Out-In Play buttons on the scoring screen from the bottom. If you exit the scoring screen and come right back in, the action buttons return. This may be a bug to look into.

After the pinch runner is selected then hit save, the app goes back to the game play screen including the buttons. It would seem the ball, strike buttons leave because they are unnecessary for the pinch runner/lineup selection.

I've had the same type of problem where the buttons are gone but there's no dialog up at all so it's impossible to continue scoring until you exit and re-enter. Didn't know quite what I did and didn't think about trying to duplicate it.

Please add... iPad or iphone version? And clarify if version 2.7 or earlier...

Sounds like a screen refresh bug I vaguely recall seeing once before...

In my case, the latest iPad version - 2.76 something, I believe. Never saw it on my iPod. It's like some code path returning from a substitution (as I recall that's what I had just done) doesn't enable/show them for some reason. The rest of the screen, in my case anyway, was quite active and responsive. Just no buttons until I got out of the game and came back to it again.

Exactly the same problem, iPad v. 2.75
