Issues on importing data

Whenever I export data to the website and then retreive the data from another device I find that the player numbers do not carry through. I have the team set up with all the numbers and then when I import the data to my iPad for example the numbers are all zero(0). Is this supposed to happen?

Copying a game from one device to another will not update the Roster on the second device. It will only copy the data for that game, and the Lineup for that game. If the game being transferred includes a new team, then the new team will have the numbers from the game being transferred, but it will never update the numbers in the Roster for an existing team.
If you want to update the Rosters for a team from a lineup (including jersey numbers), you can go to Game Manager, select the game you want to copy the lineup from, go to Pitch by Pitch, touch the Game Starts event, touch Edit next to "Starting lineup", then you can use Options, Copy Lineup -> Roster to copy information from the lineup to the team roster.

For others reading, this post was about data shareing not importing....
options > "export" and "data sharing" buttons are used to move information between devices NOT "import". Import button is more of a retrieval function, for more emergency / back up retrieval needs..
