Crashing when changing batting order

Post by aimon » Mon Jun 28, 2010 11:28 am

I use the app on an iPhone 3GS. When I try to change the batting order I can move one or two players, then the screen locks up, I can't move anything and the app crashes. Even when I go back into it, it does the same thing. Several times this year I've had to add a new team and just do their numbers as they come up to bat. This is frustrating because I have two or three instances of the same team only because I couldn't change the starting lineup. Any ideas?

Also, on another note, any issues with this app on the iPhone 4 or iOS 4?

Thanks!

there are other posts about iOS4.. so far no one has reported any iOS4 specific related issues that i have seen..... still early of course...but so far so good..

The "Screen Locks up when trying to move players in batting order" you describe has not been reported that i recall. I move players up and down the line up all the time.

Have you tried doing a “hard shut down/reset”? You may have a low memory situation due to memory leak issue from other apps. (do a hard shut down by holding down power button until 'Slide to power off' prompt appears. ) If you can replicate this issue after a hard shut down, please report back here, export your data (options> export) and email support@fasterthanmonkeys with your customer id (find id under options > admin website) and detail description of your issue in the email. FTM will then be able to look at your database and try to identify the issue/solution for you.

The Duplicate team syndrome happens periodically for a number of reasons, and there is a way to fix it / merge the multiple versions of a team into one and not loose any data.
Do this by First, going to League Manager and turn on "all" league.
Then go to Team Manager, notice a button on bottom left called merge. Use this. and follow the prompts two merge multiple teams into one and consoilidate all games/stats one go forward team.

the merge function also works for duplicate players you may have inadvertently created , use the merge button (bottom left) of player manager..

Thanks for the ideas. We have a game tomorrow night and I'll see how it behaves.
