System Crash during export

I have recently seen the system crash during an initial export. It does not happen every time but it happens more often than not. On my second attempt it always works.

the number one cause of 'crashes' is memory leakage from programs on the handheld (through no fault of your own, some programs including programs from Apple, like mail, and safari etc, do not fully release memory sometimes).

Periodically do a hard shut down, (hold down power button till slide for shutdown prompt). that generally does the trick.

My exports last so long that my iPhone goes to sleep and blanks the screen. This seems to casuse the export to fail, so what I do is touch the screen periodically to force the phone from going to sleep. This has worked for me like a charm.
