Editing pitcher change

Post by Show mom » Tue Jun 01, 2010 7:07 am

I accidentally missed a pitching change and the game is over. I cannot figure out how to go back and edit the pitchers stats. Please help!

Go to the game, touch pitch by pitch, pick the inning that the change was made, then find the correct spot (ie. beginning of the inning or after a particular batter), touch that spot, touch edit substitution. Make your changes. The stats should recalculate showing the new pitcher and less innings for the previous pitcher.

Using the Game Manager, go to the game in question. Enter the pitch-by-pitch and scroll to the point in the game that the substitution should have been made.
Tap on the first pitch that should go to the new pitcher and then tap the "Edit" button associated with the Substitution line (should be the first one in the list).
Select the "Visitor" or "Home" depending on your situation. Tap the pitcher position and make your sub (don't forget to make the batting change too).
Tap "Save" and then tap "Save" again, then "back", and finally, tap "Play" to recalculate your stats.

As a general practice, it is always good to export your data prior to making any changes to completed games (just in case. :))
