MLB roster R/L errors

Is there a way to report errors in player data after updating MLB rosters? A number of players have their bat/throw, left/right information incorrect. One can manually correct the information, but the next download brings back the wrong info. Example: two seasons in and the mlb roster database download has Corey Seager as a right-handed hitter

The Left/Right handed issues have been fixed with the 2018 updates which will be available soon. The source changed the way the data was presented to us and it was causing all players to default to right handed for both hitting and throwing.

That is good news for 2018 MLB add on... data source correcting R/L handidness for MLB subscription
Somewhat related, will this be retroactive for historical years? and What 'years' will 2018 subscription contain for 'retro sheet'.. will it contain 1950 to 2017 MLB rosters?

It will be retroactive in the sense that the "players" are the same players for every season. So if a user gets the 2018 rosters, their older rosters will have the new information as well.
The retrosheet rosters are 1950 to 2012. We will give access to the MLB rosters for the 2013-2017 season for anyone with the 2018 rosters that requests it. It is not part of the retrosheet downloads however as we have the newer years in our own system.
