Pinch Runner in Scorecard View

I read how to put in a pinch runner and did that, but looking at more scoresheet it has that the runner came in as a 1B (the position that he eventually took over in the bottom half of the inning) instead of coming in as a PR and then going to 1B. Did I do something wrong? Just curious. Thanks in advance!

You did not do anything wrong. The scorecard only shows fielding positions. What it should show though is when the pinch runner came in, there should be a little "PR" next to the base the pinch runner came in at. This does not seem to be working, but we will get it fixed. For now, you can always see pinch runner history in the Pitch by Pitch, Play by Play, and iScorecast listings.

I'm using version 3.50.530 on a Kindle Fire and I also do not see a "PR" next to the base on the scorecard when a pinch runner enters the game. It's been over two years since this thread was started, so I was just wondering if this is still on the radar as an issue to be resolved. Thanks.

We show courtesy runners on the scorecard in purple letters. Pinch runners are subs and are shown as a new row in the player area.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was aware that the pinch runner appears as a substitution. The real issue is that pinch hitters also appear as a substitution in exactly the same way ("-" in the POS column), so there's no way to tell them apart. Which means that the scorecard doesn't indicate whether the plate appearance containing the substitution is credited to the original batter or the sub. The reply to the original post stated that there should be a "PR" in the box for the plate appearance if the substitution is a pinch runner instead of a pinch hitter. However, this does not yet appear in the scorecard.
