I have made a mistake during the game how do I correct it?

I have read through the forum and have noticed others have complained about how do you fix a screw up during the game. For example I showed a batter out but the official scorekeeper showed the batter had a base hit. I did not discover the problem until the next time the batter came to the plate.

The only choice was to (while the game was still progressing) undo every single batter and then re-enter the correct information. Their was no way I could keep up. It seems to me that undo during a game without any record is a disaster and makes iScore a nice thing to have but now I am going to have to keep iScore and an offical book. Way to much work, you guys have an awesome application it just seems to me that we should be able to correct a mistake the same way we correct a mistake in a paper book.

Thanks in advance.

We can do the typical corrections after the fact (changing an error to a hit and a hit to an error), but can not do game changing edits. We are going to continue improving the edit capability, but we go to great lengths to make sure you can not make mistakes like this.

How is it that you were not able to see the batter was recorded as an out and not a base hit until the next time he came to bat? Wouldn't you have seen he was on base and immediately be able to undo and enter him as on base? (You could change how he made it to the base after the game if you missed the way he got on base.) Or wouldn't you have prematurely reached 3 outs in the inning since you recorded an extra out, and be able to undo at that point? We are trying to understand how you were able to score an out and not realize it so we can address that issue.

Thank you.
