I was scoring a doubleheader last night and the first game went great. After the first game ended, I did as I usually do and exited the game. While still in game manager, I then clicked on "Add a Game" and started to set up the second game of the doubleheader. After entering the teams and then clicking on "Start Scoring the Game", I set up the home team lineup which went fine. However, when I clicked on the visitor lineup all of the players on the team roster where shown twice. I clicked on a couple players to see if one of them might have no stats but all the players appeared to be exact duplicates of each other. With minimal time to think of a solution, I chose to delete one of the duplicates for each player so I could complete the lineup in the new game we were about to start.

I thought everything was OK. However, after the game ended and I exited as I always do, I shut down my iPad and headed home. When I reviewed both of the games at home everything seemed fine. I then went to review the team stats in Team Manager and noticed that everything appeared to be showing as being doubled. I thought I would check the team roster to see if the duplicate players were showing up as they did when I was setting up the second game of the doubleheader and they were once again showing up as duplicates.

How can I get rid of the duplicate players, not lose any scored games and get the season stats to not be duplicated. The team I'm using is a single season team that now has 14 games scored.

You should be able to go to Game Manager, select the game, select the Pitch by Pitch (Edit) option, tap the Game Starts event, then tap Edit next to Starting Lineup. Remove the duplicate players from the lineup there. Then exit back to the Game Info screen, view stats for the game, and tap the Recalc button to have iScore recalculate all the stats for the game.

OK. I have tried that and I still have identical players for every player on my roster when I click on Team Manager, my team, and then roster. Additionally, we have played 14 games in 2017 with this team but my team stats are showing 28 games. Other ideas of how to correct the issues?

Additionally, when I go to our team website. It is showing identical duplicate players for all players on our roster.

Perhaps your team roster has the players added twice. Try going to Team Manager, selecting the team, then selecting Roster and see if each player is listed twice. If so, remove the duplicates.

@chuck The fix sounds to be straightforward - clean up/ 'rebuild' team roster. Since with 'all league on', players only listed once in player manager look fine, have right stats.. Just meed to clean up team roater, remove the players from team roster and then add each back by add player and pick from player list. This rebuild of team roster shoukd fix

Any idea on how a team roster could have gotten 'duplicated' listing the exact same player twice?

When add a player in team manager roster, does not let you add a player already on roster to have him listed twice.

(By 'exact same player' i mean, truely the same same player with the same underlying unique player ID)

Thank you OhioTex for the help. Your advise worked after I deleted the roster in team manager and then rebuilt the roster.

No, we do not know. If Chuck has any ideas on what may have led to that situation we would love to hear it.

When in the team roster (within team manager) and you press one of the duplicate players to edit them (e.g. to change the jersey number), what do you happen to see in "First Name" and "Last Name"? Are they filled regular or do they seem to be empty?
