I don't know if this is a new feature or not, but with the new version I notice the scoresheet will score balls and strikes on and I am not using pitch by pitch. I was scoring a game today, watching on TV and when I glanced at the scoresheet on my iPad there was a walk magically recorded. I did not enter it. It took about 3 undo presses to get back to where I wanted to be. I believe there is a glitch of some kind, funny things going on with my wifi, I dunno. It is very annoying. I had no problems last year with the older version. Is there a feature I need to shut off to stop the app from automatically recording pitches, because I do not use the pbp feature? Please tell me you have a fix for this, otherwise the app is totally useless for my purpose. Again, no problems prior to this newest version.
Regards

nothing changed in the version vs last year with respect to main scoring .
specifically, I am not sure what you mean by ..

or

There is no automatic entry of pitches, you recored (tap buttons) for the actions you see on the field (balls, strikes, out, in play, hits etc etc etc ). Which is different than recording pitch speed/type/ location - which is optional. none of which has changed from last year.
A thought, - you may want to check your game settings and make sure "voice recognition" is not turned on (if on, could explain unexpected entry)
.........
not trying to short change you. but i am struggling to understand what you are getting at, Please post back with more detail or clarification if you want,

Sounds like voice recognition is on for sure. That is the only way scoring would be done without you tapping the screen.

Yes, Voice Recog was on. I have turned it off and will score another game with the function off. No doubt that was my problem. I will report back though, to confirm. I'm confident it will turn out to be a non-problem. Thanks for the help to this point.
